Communicating for Causes

Training

in Digital Communication and Volunteer Mobilisation

For you, your collective or organisation to take ownership of digital communication and information technologies and make your cause’s voice reach further.

Start now

BOOST your cause, organisation and collective

Three in four Brazilians access the internet — 134 million people. How many times have you caught yourself scrolling social media for hours? Or googling just about anything? Does your cause have a digital presence?

“Out of sight, out of mind.”

You can make your cause’s voice reach further and mobilise donors, activists, defenders, collaborators and partners with tactical, organised communication. Up for the challenge?

This course trains you, your cause, collective or organisation in:

  • Identifying the opportunities digital communication can open for your cause;

  • Technical knowledge to produce high-impact content for different platforms and audiences;

  • Hands-on practice with content-production tools, good practices and platforms;

  • Managing and mobilising volunteer collaborators so they can learn and grow with your cause.

The course is free, online and interactive.

The thematic tracks

1. Communication

  • Design. Why a visual identity matters, and how to create graphic and digital materials;

  • Social media. Creating content and posts that engage and build visibility on social networks;

2. Management and Mobilisation

  • Marketing team. Creating and managing your marketing team’s demands.
