Internet Segura — Casa Hacker

Internet Segura is a Casa Hacker campaign, delivered in partnership with Desktop, promoting online education and safety in a practical, accessible way. The training is in person and free in five cities in the region — Sumaré, Hortolândia, Nova Odessa, Campinas and Americana — aimed at teachers, public managers, community leaders and social workers.

During the sessions, participants get access to innovative methodologies and hands-on experience of how to deal with the challenges of the digital world: cyberbullying, disinformation, privacy and wellbeing. By the end of the training, each participant becomes a multiplier, widening the reach of that knowledge in their communities and strengthening digital justice.

Open sessions

Groups open city by city — the next confirmed ones are in Sumaré (Sociedade Beneficente São Judas Tadeu, Nova Veneza) and Campinas (Casa de Maria de Nazaré, Jardim Liliza), with Nova Odessa, Americana and Hortolândia coming soon. Follow the events calendar to secure your free place.

What does this project open up?

Continuous learning, digital citizenship and new connections. Beyond promoting safe practices in the digital environment, the project strengthens critical thinking, encourages responsible engagement and widens networks between participants, schools and partner institutions.

Cyber Educator’s Kit

Training educators

Free, in-person training for schoolteachers, social educators and community leaders — from the basics of online safety to privacy, cyberbullying and disinformation, with practices they can apply day to day.

Digital citizenship and wellbeing

A reflection on how the internet shapes people's lives — especially children and teenagers: conscious use of technology, standing up to hate speech, and digital wellbeing as everyone's right.

Multipliers and impact networks

Every participant becomes a multiplier who takes the content back to their school, NGO or workplace — with local support networks so the impact outlasts the event.

Who can take part?

Teachers, public managers, community leaders, social workers — and also students, families and communities. The project is open to people of different ages and levels of knowledge.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The training is in person and free, in the five cities of the campaign.
