The Fórum de Quebrada is a transformative initiative run by Quebrada em Movimento, a hub of active citizenship, entrepreneurship and socio-environmental impact located in the Campo Grande region of Campinas. This project sets out to create a space for dialogue and action around public policy, aimed at community leaders, activists, entrepreneurs and cultural workers, covering an age range from 16 to 60.
Objectives:

Critically analyse local public policy: examine critically the impact of public policy in the Campo Grande region.

Identify gaps and challenges: recognise the unmet needs and the specific challenges faced by the community, encouraging the search for practical solutions.

Promote open and inclusive dialogue: facilitate discussions that involve the active participation of different parts of the community, ensuring that every voice is heard.

About the moderator:
Marcelo Oliveira, also known as Dustin Maia, is an active and influential figure on the socio-environmental and cultural scene. Involved in projects such as Maia’s Family Produtora, Big Field Company, Quebrada em Movimento and Paz Para o Bassoli, Marcelo has played a key role in promoting community development and social awareness.
Beyond his involvement in socio-environmental projects, Marcelo is a talented composer and music producer whose music frequently addresses social and environmental issues. As a project manager at Casa Hacker, Marcelo draws on his experience to drive technological and innovative solutions for the benefit of the community.
A resident of Jardim Bassoli, Marcelo shows a genuine commitment to defending the rights of vulnerable populations, making him an inspiration for other residents.
