Casa Hacker allocates resources to initiatives that generate positive social and environmental impact through conditional grants — the instrument defined in our Investment in Projects policy (in Portuguese). Every line in this database went through a formal proposal, an assessment against eliminatory and qualitative criteria, and an allocation budgeted in the relevant cost centre.

The policy bars investment in proposals from staff, directors, members, board members and relatives up to the third degree; from applicants whose previous reporting was rejected; and from organisations involved in labour, environmental or human rights violations.
