A mapping of the tools and approaches that civil society organisations in Campinas use to tackle social challenges — an initiative of the FEAC Foundation in technical partnership with Casa Hacker.

01 · what is the mapping?

The mapping of social technologies (ST) of innovative organisations in Campinas is an initiative of the FEAC Foundation, in technical partnership with Casa Hacker. The project’s main aim is to identify, analyse and document the tools and approaches used by civil society organisations and collectives to face and solve local social challenges.

02 · why map?

The mapping seeks to spread, share and enable the replication of the best practices and innovative solutions that help further wellbeing equitably in Campinas. In the city there are few — almost no — mappings that locate all the projects being carried out. This platform can serve as a base for research on social development, as support for the third-sector ecosystem and as a relevant source for creating and improving public policy.

03 · the mapping in numbers

108 social technologies from 90 organisations, across 8 regions of Campinas, founded between 1992 and 2024.
