There’s a club every week: a hands-on workshop with Casa Hacker educators, professional equipment made available and a real neighbourhood challenge on the table. You learn spray paint, Arduino, 3D printing, VR and AI by doing — and at the end of the cycle you take the Festival stage to show what you built. The programme runs for 7 months, with weekly workshops in partner secondary schools.

// who can take part
It is free — it always has been. What we ask for is presence and the will to build together. Places prioritise those who need them most:
- ensino médio (parceria com escolas)
- renda per capita familiar de até ½ salário mínimo (ou até 3 salários totais)
- 50% das vagas reservadas a grupos sub-representados — pessoas negras, mulheres, LGBTQIA+, PcD e minorias étnicas
For under-18s, the legal guardian must sign the registration form. Registration opens according to each unit’s calendar — but you can register your interest now by talking to the team.
// about this unit
Nova Odessa operates as a direct partnership with the municipal school network. The clubs take place at the school outside regular hours, with facilitators trained by Casa Hacker. The focus is creative programming and an introduction to digital fabrication.
