In December, the Hub Quebrada em Movimento will host Perifer.IA – Educação & Oportunidade, a free training course created to bring young people and adults from the outskirts closer to the world of Artificial Intelligence. In a simple, hands-on way, the session shows how tools such as ChatGPT can be used to study, work, organise projects, strengthen ideas and even start new businesses.

The project is run by Naviela and Mnova. Naviela works directly in outlying territories through training, creativity and community development. Mnova is a company specialising in innovation, education and emerging technologies, bringing to the course its hands-on experience with AI teaching methods.
The aim of Perifer.IA is to show that technology is also for the quebrada — and that understanding AI is a gateway to more opportunities. The content covers what AI can do today, how to ask good questions, how to judge the reliability of answers, and how this technology is set to shape the future of work.
The activity comes to the Hub Quebrada em Movimento as part of the territory’s commitment to strengthening accessible training, encouraging creativity and widening access to the technologies that are transforming the world.
Besides the training itself, the gathering will offer a welcoming setting with food and drinks, creating an inviting space for those taking their first steps in the subject.
