STEAM Education Teacher
Facilitate hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics workshops in public schools in São Paulo, mediating classroom discoveries and monitoring each participant's journey.
Context
Casa Hacker is a civil society organisation for STEAM education and social innovation. Our Theory of Change deploys our entire team, technical partnerships, knowledge, and network to innovate, creating and co-creating STEAM education and social innovation initiatives to make digital technologies and the Internet accessible to everyone and empower each person to transform their local community. Considering this context, Casa Hacker invests in innovation programmes in the territories where it operates and seeks professionals with proven experience to lead the strategy alongside us.
Within the STEAM Education team at Casa Hacker, the teacher plays an essentially pedagogical role. Day-to-day duties involve facilitating hands-on workshops, mediating classroom discoveries, and observationally recording each student’s progress. It is a role that requires didactics and empathy to deal with different profiles and learning paces, ranging from technical instruction on the use of kits to the socio-emotional support of participants. We are looking for someone who ensures a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment, guaranteeing that educational objectives are met at each gathering. The STEAM education programme comprises a directorship, programme management, pedagogical coordination, assistance, teachers, and thematic specialists.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

We ensure that people with disabilities will have the necessary adaptations and accessibility resources to participate in any stage of the selection process or interview, as well as to perform their essential duties. If you require any specific accessibility resources, please inform us when submitting your application.
We are an organisation that values equal opportunities. We do not discriminate based on race or colour (including aesthetic characteristics and hair texture), religion/belief, gender, gender identity or expression, national origin, pregnancy, ancestry, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, age, health conditions, or any other.
