What this collection is
From the First Click to Autonomy brings together the five learning tracks of Inclusão Tech — Casa Hacker’s complete pedagogical route for basic digital education, designed for people at their first contact with a computer and built on one conviction: digital inclusion is a tool for strengthening social and economic inclusion and access to rights in the age of digital transformation.
More than providing access to technology, the tracks seek to emancipate participants with fundamental skills and knowledge — from job seeking and entrepreneurship to access to public services. Combined with the educator’s experience, each track creates real opportunities to build the digital skills needed to act in the face of a changing world.
How the methodology was built
The tracks were not designed at a desk: they are the direct outgrowth of the Bytes de Mudanças territorial research (2024), which listened — with educators from the territories themselves — to the skills, fears and interests of residents of Parque Via Norte and Vila Olímpia, in Campinas. The resulting methodological proposal is practical and interactive, aligned with the needs the territories identified, with routes adapted by age group.
Implemented in cooperation with social assistance organisations in Campinas — ADRA, CECOMPI, Casa Santana and Núcleo Calvariano — the tracks became a social technology transferred to more than 5 organisations, with training for educators and impact managers to run them autonomously.
The five volumes
- Children — playful digital literacy, a guided first contact with the computer;
- Adolescents — autonomy, creation and safe online behaviour;
- Adults (15+) — digital skills for everyday life, the job market, services and rights;
- 50+ — inclusion at one’s own pace, from zero to independent use;
- Topics of interest — the cross-cutting track that starts from what each group wants to learn, as mapped in the territorial research.
Who it is for
Educators, social assistance organisations, schools and public managers who want to implement basic digital education in their territories — the materials are open, and Casa Hacker supports the rollout with training and advisory work. Get in touch: falae@casahacker.org.
